Upcoming services

On Sunday, July 30 we continue our series of messages on Paul’s letter to Timothy (see Pastor’s Notes). Join us each week for Sunday morning worship at 9:30 a.m.!

Mulch day

Brookfield CRC and Brookfield Christian School are looking for volunteers to help pull weeds and spread mulch on Saturday, July 29, starting at 9:00 a.m. Please bring your work gloves, shovels and wheelbarrows! Questions? Please contact Dan Jongetjes.

Sunday “Jam Night”

On Sunday, August 6, at 5:00 p.m. we will be having another worship music Jam Nights. This informal get-together is open to any and all musicians, vocalists, and tech runners who might be interested in helping with worship at Brookfield CRC—whether during our church services or in our youth ministries. The goals of the evening are to provide mentorship to up-and-coming musicians, vocalists, and sound and slide runners; explore ways to promote excellence in worship; and learn how to play and work together as a group, all while having a great time together in a worship setting. If you’re interested in attending, please let Mark Van Weelden or Pastor Brandon know so we can prepare music for you.

Road closed

The intersection of Pilgrim Road and Burleigh Road, just west of Brookfield CRC, is closed for road construction. Please keep this in mind so you aren’t late for church!

Classis Wisconsin ReNew forum

On Sunday afternoon, August 27, Brookfield CRC will host the 2017 Classis Wisconsin ReNew forum (formerly the Leadership Forum). People involved in ministry at any level of the church are welcome to attend. Information about the sessions offered and registration can be found at:

Truck needed for Ebenezer School, Mozambique

Brookfield CRC is hoping to raise $7,500—to be matched by one of our Life Groups—to purchase a small pickup truck for Ebenezer School in Mozambique. The truck will be used to deliver tomatoes to market, among other farm needs. Checks can be placed in the collection plate or handed to a Deacon, made out to BCRC, with “Bearing Fruit” written in the memo line. Questions? Contact any Deacon, or Craig Du Mez.
