Join us for morning worship for a series of messages looking at the attributes and character of God (see Pastor's Notes). Ben Katt will be our guest preacher on Sunday, August 1. Ben is the missionary pastor of Awake Church, a Christian Reformed church plant entering its third year of ministry in the Aurora area of Seattle, WA. In our evening services we are exploring the book of Joshua. Regular worship services begin at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Summer Music Camp Announcements:
Calling All Bakers - Baked goods are needed for Music Camp! If you are willing to provide some cookies or bars for our campers and the volunteers, please contact Twyla Van Weelden. Goodies can be dropped off in the church kitchen.

Join a Prayer Team - Consider being a part of the prayer team for Brookfield CRC's summer music camp, Acorns to Oaks. While there is a group of people actively praying now for this upcoming ministry, there is also a plan for individuals who would be willing to pray on site, during the music camp (July 26 - 30, and August 2-6, as well as two performances). If you are interested in being a part of this important work, please contact Brenda Konings.

BCRC Members & Covenant Plan
The annual "Covenant Plan" for Christian Day School Education meetings have been set for Sundays August 8, 15, and 22 beginning at 11:00 a.m. following the worship service in the Sanctuary. All members are strongly encouraged to attend. All parents that have children whose tuition is paid using the Covenant Plan are required to attend one of the three meetings. The Council is in the process of creating a document fully outlining the church's Covenant Plan for Christian Day School Education and would like to have a time to share the proposed contents of the document with the entire congregation. There will be a time for discussion and feedback, as well. If you are unable to attend and have a child using the Covenant Plan, please see one of the Deacons or a Stewardship Committee member to set up a separate time for discussion.

Blood Drive
On Saturday, August 14 there will be a blood drive at BCRC in West Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The goal for the drive is 35 units. Please call the office at 262-784-1125 to schedule your donation time. The blood center is the sole provider of blood to every hospital in southeast Wisconsin and 800 units are needed every day. There is no easier way to help save the life of another.

Holland Festival Bike Ride
Consider biking on the Interurban Trail (www.interurbantrial.us) to Cedar Grove’s Holland Festival (www.hollandfest.com) on Saturday, July 31. Meet up with other BCRC bikers as a single, couple, friends or family. Check out the Web sites, as there are different starting points (i.e. Mequon, Port Washington, etc.) for biking and various activities (parade, art fair, Klompen Dancers, etc.) at the Festival.
