At Brookfield CRC, we’ve identified six core values that help us to focus on our mission of “making disciples”:
As a body of believers, we live in community. We strive to show hospitality to everyone who comes into our church. We encourage people to join small groups, so they can minister to each other within those groups.
We expect members to progress in their journey to become more Christ-like. We nurture each other in faith and obedience as we respond to Christ’s call in our lives.
We are called to share with the world the good news that Jesus died for our sins. We encourage all members to reach out to the people God has placed in their lives with His love.
Jesus calls us to serve the poor and disadvantaged people in our society and to promote justice whenever and wherever we can. We provide opportunities for members to serve others locally, nationally, and internationally.
We challenge each other to serve God to the best of our ability with our gifts and money. We use our spiritual gifts to build up Christ’s body. We use our financial resources to carry out the ministries of the church.
As people saved by grace, we gather together to worship God. We sing, pray, confess our sins, hear God’s word, and go out equipped to serve God in the world.
